I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist offering an integrative, emotion-centered approach to psychotherapy. I have over 15 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy and facilitating community groups.
I have studied a cross-cultural range of approaches to psycho-emotional wellness and healing, with an emphasis on systems-work, attachment, dynamic processes, and connection to the natural world.
I received my B.Sc. from Middlesex University (UK) and my M.Sc. from Westminster University (UK). I then returned to Greece to complete my five-year training as a Systemic Psychotherapist before moving to the US, where I received my M.Ed. in Clinical Counseling from the School of Education at Duquesne University and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Existential-Phenomenology, also from Duquesne University.
I completed my pre-doctoral practicum at the University of Pittsburgh Psychiatric Hospital (Western Psych UPMC), where I focused on working with people with schizophrenia. I completed my clinical internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center where I specialized in work with young adults. I am a member of the American Psychological Association as well as the Greek Psychological Association.
Most of my interests are in the interconnected fields of systemic psychotherapy, relational therapy, psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, and Jungian psychoanalysis.
